Electrical Infrastructure
for Data Centers

Data centers run on power. From the grid connection to the server rack, every component in the electrical chain needs to be reliable, redundant, and built to spec. Reeload designs and installs the full AC power scope for data center facilities. Medium-voltage connections, transformer stations, switchgear, distribution boards, and low-voltage systems down to rack-level delivery. We work with data center operators, developers, and general contractors across the Benelux.

Our Approach to Data Center Electrical Infrastructure

Every project starts with the single-line diagram. We map the full power architecture from utility feed to rack PDU, then engineer and install each component in the chain: medium-voltage switchgear, MS/LS transformers, automatic transfer switches, main distribution boards, and 400V low-voltage distribution including busbar systems.

For smaller edge facilities (1 to 2.5 MW), we typically install prefab concrete transformer enclosures on-site. For larger deployments (3 to 10 MW+), we build inboard transformer rooms and switchgear installations inside the facility's technical space, keeping heavy 400V connections as short as possible to reduce copper losses and cost.

We coordinate with grid operators, OEMs, and other contractors on-site to deliver on schedule.

Why Reeload?

Reeload has built its reputation on high-voltage and heavy-power electrical work. We bring that same discipline to data center projects, where every connection and every failover path has to work when it matters. Our team communicates openly, delivers on time, and builds infrastructure that holds up over the long term.

FAQ

We handle the entire AC power chain. That covers everything from the medium-voltage grid connection through transformers and switchgear, all the way to low-voltage distribution at rack level. Whether the project calls for prefab enclosures or inboard transformer rooms, we take responsibility for the full electrical installation.

We work across the range. Smaller edge facilities in the 1 to 2.5 MW class are typically served with prefab concrete cabines. From 3 MW up, we install inboard transformer rooms with parallel transformer setups and busbar distribution. Our team and execution model scale with the project.

Yes. We install BESS systems directly on the facility’s 400V main distribution bus. This enables peak shaving to lower grid costs, adds another layer of backup alongside UPS and generators, and can be used to participate in the energy market for additional revenue. We handle the full integration from design to grid connection.

Redundancy is built into every layer. We install dual-feed configurations, automatic transfer switches, and parallel transformer setups that meet Tier III and Tier IV requirements. Every system is fully tested and commissioned before handover, including failover sequence verification.

Yes. We offer maintenance contracts covering the full electrical installation, from medium-voltage switchgear to distribution boards. That includes preventive maintenance, thermal inspections, and support when something needs attention.
